A focused, hands-on course in perineal repair — AST-approved for 4 CE credits, taught live on Zoom by Rob Sanchez, CST.
This is a hands-on class: you'll work the whole time on a simulator with layered perineal tissue that holds suture tension and tears like real tissue. Already own a Synthesurg simulator? Use it. If not, we'll ship you a simulator-and-instrument kit ahead of your session date so you're ready to work hands-on right alongside the instructor.
- Perineal anatomy & positioning
- Layered perineal repair — suturing technique on a true-to-tissue simulator
- Recognizing extended lacerations and when to escalate
